FAQs

Common questions

What file types do you accept?

STL, OBJ and STEP files are commonly useful. We can also review sketches, dimensions, photos or damaged sample parts if you need help creating a printable model.

How long does 3D printing take?

Turnaround depends on size, detail, material and quantity. Small items can often be produced quickly, while larger or more detailed parts require more print and finishing time.

How strong are 3D printed parts?

Strength depends on the material, design, print orientation and settings. We can advise on whether 3D printing is suitable for the intended use.

Can you help with design?

Yes. We can help prepare files, optimise designs for printing, create new CAD models or pair the process with 3D scanning if you need to reproduce an existing part.

What is the maximum print size?

This depends on the chosen process, material and geometry. Send us the dimensions and we will confirm the best route.

Can 3D printing be combined with other services?

Yes. It can be paired with CAD design, 3D scanning, laser cutting and CNC machining for complete product development or replacement part reproduction.
